JDM Technology Group Acquires Builder Software Tools

JDM Technology Group has acquired Ottawa-based Builder Software Tools, a provider of ERP software for new home and condo builders, with the transaction closing on January 31, 2022 after approval from founders Rick Wright and Elizabeth Stom. Builder Software Tools will join JDM’s Explorer Software business, with Explorer President Carmen Greene overseeing day-to-day operations to integrate and support the product for Canadian builders.

DealerBuilt Acquires Oplogic CRM

DealerBuilt, a provider of dealer management system (DMS) software, has acquired Oplogic, a CRM solution for automotive dealerships. The acquisition integrates Oplogic's desking, digital retailing, lead management, call recording, equity mining and compliance capabilities into DealerBuilt's platform to expand its product suite and better serve dealer customers.

JDM Technology Group Acquires Infotech AS

The acquisition, which closed July 3, 2025, strengthens JDM's presence in the Nordic region while allowing Infotech to continue operating as a separate brand under its existing leadership.

Hitachi Acquires GlobalLogic

Hitachi, Ltd., through its U.S. subsidiary Hitachi Global Digital Holdings (HGDH), acquired GlobalLogic, a Silicon Valley–headquartered digital engineering services firm, in a transaction announced March 31, 2021 and completed July 14, 2021. The deal valued GlobalLogic at $8.5 billion of equity ($9.5 billion enterprise value) and expands Hitachi's Lumada digital solutions capabilities by adding GlobalLogic's ~21,000 engineering and design professionals.
