MFG Partners Acquires Mellott Company

New York-based private equity firm MFG Partners has completed a majority acquisition of Mellott Company, a Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania–based aggregates processing services and equipment provider, in partnership with Mellott management and PNC Mezzanine Capital. The former Mellott family owners partnered with MFG to support long-term growth; terms were not disclosed.

Kamps, Inc. Acquires John Rock, Inc.

Kamps, Inc., a Freeman Spogli–backed national pallet company, has completed the acquisition of the business of John Rock, Inc., a vertically integrated pallet manufacturer and lumber mill based in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. The add-on expands Kamps' Mid-Atlantic footprint and strengthens its value chain capabilities in lumber milling, new pallet manufacturing, and logistics while retaining John Rock's leadership and employees.

Kemper Group Acquires EastRock Solutions

Kemper Group has acquired EastRock Solutions, a Pennsylvania-based equipment dealer, and will combine it with Old Dominion Equipment & Supply and EESSCO under the Kemper brand. The acquisition brings EastRock's OEM partnerships and local expertise into Kemper and provides EastRock access to Kemper's engineering, fabrication and field service capabilities.

Kloeckner Metals Acquires Industrial Manufacturing Services

Klöckner & Co, through its U.S. subsidiary Kloeckner Metals Corporation (KMC), has acquired Industrial Manufacturing Services (IMS), a Lancaster, South Carolina-based metal fabricator. IMS, which operates a single facility with about 100 employees and annual sales around USD 30 million, will expand KMC’s fabrication, welding and just-in-time warehousing capabilities across North America; financial terms were not disclosed.
