Activision has acquired Barcelona-based mobile game developer Digital Legends, adding the studio to its roster of internal mobile development teams to support an unannounced Call of Duty mobile title. Terms were not disclosed; Digital Legends will help expand Activision’s mobile development capabilities and talent pool.

GMF Capital Acquires Motorsport Network Media LLC

GMF Capital, the single-family office of Gary Fegel, has acquired a controlling majority stake in Motorsport Network Media LLC, a global digital motorsport and automotive media platform, for an undisclosed amount with an option to buy remaining minority interests later. The deal transfers nearly 50 flagship motorsport and automotive digital properties (including Motorsport.com, Autosport, Motor1.com, InsideEVs.com and Motorsport.tv) to GMF as it expands into the sports, automotive and media sector.

Getty Images Acquires Motorsport Images

Getty Images has acquired Motorsport Images, including LAT Images and the Sutton, Schlegelmilch, Colombo and Dukes video archives, adding more than 29 million images and extensive motorsport video footage to its sports content offering. The acquisition expands Getty Images' motorsport archive and photographic talent, strengthening its premium motorsports content and services for global media, brands and sports organizations.

Parella Motorsports (SpeedTour) Acquires Racing America

Parella Motorsports Holdings (the owner/operator of SpeedTour) has acquired Racing America, a digital-first motorsports media and streaming platform. The deal, completed under the ownership of Velocity Capital Management (with support from the Texas Permanent School Fund), combines live-event promotion with Racing America's digital production and streaming capabilities to create an integrated grassroots motorsports media and events platform headquartered in North Carolina.

J.D. Power Acquires Trilogy Automotive

Electronic Arts Acquires Metalhead Software
