GrubMarket Acquires Best Fresh Produce, Inc.

GrubMarket has completed the acquisition of Best Fresh Produce, Inc., a Los Angeles–based fresh fruit and vegetable supplier founded in 2007. The deal expands GrubMarket's presence in the Los Angeles market and gives Best Fresh Produce access to GrubMarket's WholesaleWare SaaS platform while remaining based in Los Angeles under its existing management team.

GrubMarket has completed the acquisition of Best Oriental Produce, a Vernon, California-based grower, importer and distributor of Asian produce and the largest Asian squash provider in the U.S. The deal brings Best Oriental's 700-hectare farming operations, PrimusGFS-certified warehouse and longstanding supermarket and retail relationships into GrubMarket to strengthen its Southern California footprint and expand its fresh-produce supply capabilities while the existing leadership team remains in place.
