Gaming and Leisure Properties Acquires Three Casino Resorts from Strategic Gaming Management

Gaming and Leisure Properties (GLPI) purchased the real estate assets of Baldini’s Casino (Nevada), the Silverado Franklin Hotel & Gaming Complex (South Dakota) and the Deadwood Mountain Grand (South Dakota) for $105 million, plus $5 million in capital improvement proceeds (total investment $110 million). GLPI entered 25‑year cross‑defaulted triple‑net leases with tenant Strategic Gaming Management (with two 10‑year renewal options), agreed initial aggregate annual cash rent of $9.2 million, and secured a right of first refusal on future Strategic acquisitions until Strategic’s adjusted EBITDAR reaches $40 million annualized.

Sun European Affiliate Acquires Sports & Leisure Group (SLG)

TenCate Grass Acquires Sports & Leisure Group from Sun European Affiliate

TenCate Grass Holding B.V. has acquired Sports & Leisure Group (SLG), a vertically integrated artificial turf systems manufacturer headquartered in Sint‑Niklaas, Belgium. The shares were sold by an affiliate of Sun European Partners; former SLG shareholders, including the Sun European affiliate, will reinvest part of the sale proceeds into TenCate. The deal expands TenCate's geographic footprint and Outdoor Living portfolio across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and South America.

Sunset Management Company Acquires Winter Park Lodging Company and Steamboat Lodging Company

The acquisition adds more than 140 vacation rental properties across Winter Park and Steamboat Springs, Colorado to Sunset Management's portfolio and continues the legacy of local, full-service short-term rental management.

Planet Fitness Acquires Sunshine Fitness (114 Clubs)

Planet Fitness, Inc. agreed to acquire Sunshine Fitness Growth Holdings, LLC — a Planet Fitness franchisee operating 114 clubs in the Southeast U.S. — in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at $800 million, funded in part by a new securitization and available cash. The locations (in AL, FL, GA, NC and SC) were folded into Planet Fitness' company-owned portfolio, and Sunshine co-founder Shane McGuiness joined Planet Fitness to oversee the combined corporate club operations; the deal closed in February 2022.

Bragg Gaming Group Acquires Spin Games LLC

Bragg Gaming Group completed the acquisition of Spin Games LLC in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at approximately USD 30 million. The purchase gives Bragg U.S. iGaming licenses, an RGS and content portfolio, and operator relationships to accelerate its North American expansion.
