Cascadia Capital acted as exclusive financial advisor to Ioxus and its investors; the deal expands XS Power's product capabilities and integrates Ioxus' ultracapacitor technology into XS Power's automotive, powersports and industrial offerings.

Lyten Acquires Northvolt's BESS Product Portfolio

Lyten announced it has secured more than $200 million in additional equity (primarily from existing investors) and acquired the rights to Northvolt's Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) product portfolio, including Voltpack Mobile Systems (VMS) and Voltrack. Core members of Northvolt's energy storage engineering team will join Lyten in Stockholm, and Lyten plans to manufacture VMS and future BESS products in Gdansk, Poland with production targeted for Q4 2025.

Generate Capital Acquires esVolta to Expand Battery Storage and Grid Resilience

Generate Capital has acquired utility-scale battery storage developer esVolta LP, adding a portfolio of more than 900 MWh of operational and contracted projects and a pipeline across multiple U.S. states and Canada. The deal gives Generate entry into the front-of-the-meter battery storage market to expand its grid-connected storage capabilities and accelerate deployment of energy storage projects for utilities and offtakers.

TJC LP Acquires Soteria Flexibles from Ardian

TJC LP (TJC) has acquired Soteria Flexibles Holdings LLC from Ardian. Headquartered in Carol Stream, Illinois, Soteria is a North American flexible packaging manufacturer that Ardian built into a multi-plant platform through add-on acquisitions; financial terms were not disclosed.

Lithion Power Group Acquires Aved Electronics

Lithion Power Group, a TriWest Capital Partners Fund V portfolio company, has acquired Aved Electronics from its existing shareholders with participation from Aved management. The acquisition adds Aved's battery pack manufacturing, cable and harness assembly, and electro-mechanical box-build capabilities to Lithion's offering, expanding product lines and end-market exposure into medical, defense, robotics and communications.

Retriev Technologies Acquires Battery Solutions

The deal combines Retriev's lithium‑ion processing capabilities with Battery Solutions' cross‑chemistry collection, sorting, logistics and fulfillment network to expand capacity and service offerings across EV, telecom, consumer electronics and waste management end markets.
