Univar Solutions Acquires Brad-Chem Holdings

Univar Solutions LLC has acquired UK-based Brad-Chem Holdings and its affiliated entities, including the Brad-Kem joint venture in Belgium. Sole Source Capital Acquires Westwood Laboratories

Sole Source Capital LLC, an industrial-focused private equity firm, has acquired Westwood Laboratories, a full-service contract manufacturer headquartered in Azusa, California that serves beauty, personal care, pet and over-the-counter drug brands. Five Points Capital provided unitranche debt and an equity co-invest to support the acquisition; terms were not disclosed.

PLZ Aeroscience Acquires 220 Laboratories

PLZ Aeroscience Corporation, a PE-backed specialty aerosol and liquid product manufacturer, has acquired 220 Laboratories, a Riverside, California-based personal care formulator and contract manufacturer. The deal expands PLZ's end-to-end personal care capabilities—adding formulation, ideation and a 200,000 sq. ft. FDA-registered manufacturing facility—and is PLZ's fourth personal care acquisition in recent years.

Saco Foods Acquires Solo Foods from Sokol & Company

The tuck-in add-on expands Saco's center-store baking portfolio (cake and pastry fillings, marzipan and almond paste) and will leverage Saco's shared services, retail placement and e-commerce channels to grow the Solo brand.
