KARL STORZ, the family-owned medical technology company, has acquired the medical business of Charlotte-based visual collaboration software company T1V, including its CollaboratOR-related intellectual property and patents. The transaction (integration to occur over 12 months) transfers a team of ten medical-business employees to KARL STORZ and brings T1V's cloud-based, low-latency visual collaboration capabilities into KARL STORZ's digital surgery ecosystem.
