Neighborly, the Waco, Texas-based franchisor of home service brands, has acquired HouseMaster, a professional home inspection franchise headquartered in Somerville, New Jersey. The deal adds HouseMaster as the 25th brand under the Neighborly umbrella (expanding the franchisor to more than 4,000 franchise owners) and strengthens Neighborly's home-inspection capability as part of its 'Own the Home' strategy. Harvest Partners is the private equity backer of Neighborly.

Neighborly, the Waco, Texas–based franchisor of home service brands, has acquired Dream Doors, a Portsmouth, U.K.–based kitchen makeover and bedroom wardrobe franchisor. The deal includes 91 franchise showrooms in the U.K. and expands Neighborly to 22 service brands, roughly $2 billion in annual system-wide sales and nearly 3,700 franchise owners.

Neighborly, the global home services franchisor based in Waco, Texas, acquired London-based Pimlico Plumbers, a leading residential and commercial service and maintenance company. Pimlico — founded in 1979 and operating with more than 400 associates and nearly $70 million in annual revenue — will join Neighborly's portfolio as a corporate-owned subsidiary to expand the company's international footprint.

KKR Acquires Home Services Franchisor Neighborly from Harvest Partners

The deal (expected to close in Q3 2021) gives KKR a platform to accelerate growth of Neighborly’s tech-enabled home services network of 28 brands and more than 4,800 franchises serving 10M+ customers.
