Gryphon-Backed Metagenics Acquires UK Probiotic Brand Symprove

The deal — terms undisclosed — was completed alongside a strategic debt recapitalization to provide Metagenics with additional capital for organic investment and future M&A; Symprove will continue to be led by CEO Will Bowler.

Bettera Brands (Highlander Partners) Acquires Nutravail

The acquisition expands Bettera's confectionary delivery capabilities (gummies, lozenges and chewables) and is intended to accelerate cross-selling, product development and manufacturing capacity for wellness brands.

The deal brings Ancient Nutrition's fast-growing VMS portfolio (protein, gut health, greens, and the largest collagen brand in the natural channel) onto Wellful's omnichannel platform to expand distribution into the natural retail channel and strengthen Wellful's supplement offerings; Ancient Nutrition CEO Colt Morton will remain in place.
