Corteva Acquires Stoller Group

Corteva, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire Houston-based Stoller Group, a leading independent biologicals and plant-health company with operations in more than 60 countries and forecasted 2022 revenues of over $400 million. Corteva will pay $1.2 billion in cash (≈12x expected 2022 EBITDA); the deal is expected to close in the first half of 2023 and is intended to accelerate and expand Corteva’s Biologicals capabilities and commercial reach.

Sustainable Agro Solutions Acquires Ceres Biotics

Sustainable Agro Solutions (SAS Group), a portfolio company of Stirling Square Capital Partners, has acquired Spain-based Ceres Biotics to expand its microbial biosolutions product portfolio and R&D capabilities. The deal strengthens SAS Group's presence in Europe and adds more than 550 proprietary microbial strains; financial terms were not disclosed.

Servier Acquires Symphogen A/S from Novo Holdings and Other Owners

Servier has acquired 100% of the share capital of Symphogen A/S from Novo Holdings and the remaining owners, taking ownership of the Danish therapeutic antibody discovery and early biologics development company. The deal brings Symphogen’s antibody discovery platform and CMC biologics development capabilities into Servier’s oncology and immuno-oncology R&D efforts to strengthen its biologics pipeline and development capacity.

Grupo Fertiberia Acquires Trichodex

Rovensa Acquires Agro-K

Biobest Group Acquires BioWorks, Inc.

Biobest Group has completed its acquisition of BioWorks, Inc., a Victor, New York-based manufacturer and marketer of biopesticides. The deal expands Biobest's biopesticide portfolio and establishes BioWorks' Victor facility as the group's North American manufacturing and marketing hub for biopesticides.
