Triton Acquires Fertiberia Group S.A.

Funds advised by Triton have acquired Fertiberia Group S.A., a leading Spanish producer of fertilizers and industrial chemical products, from Grupo Villar Mir. The agreement was signed in August 2019 and the acquisition was completed in February 2020; financial terms were not disclosed. Fertiberia operates roughly 14 production and blending sites and about 1,400 employees across the Iberian Peninsula and Europe.

Grupo Fertiberia Acquires Van de Reijt

Grupo Fertiberia, a Triton-backed leader in EU crop nutrition, has agreed to acquire Van de Reijt, a long-established fertilizer wholesaler with waterfront bulk terminals in the Netherlands and Belgium. The acquisition strengthens Fertiberia’s distribution and logistics footprint in the Benelux to support sales of its low‑carbon and sustainable crop nutrition solutions; the deal was expected to close in Q1 2023 subject to customary approvals.

Corteva Acquires Symborg

Corteva, Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Symborg, a Murcia, Spain–based developer and manufacturer of biostimulants, biofertilizers and biocontrols. The acquisition is intended to accelerate Corteva's strategy to build a leading biologicals portfolio and scale Symborg's existing solutions and pipeline globally; financial terms were not disclosed.

Glebar Company Acquires Tridex Technology

The acquisition expands Glebar's capabilities in medical and aerospace precision cutoff and grinding solutions and positions the company for further organic and inorganic growth.

Aurora-Backed Spray-Tek Acquires TRuCapSol

Spray-Tek, a specialty spray-drying and ingredient processing platform backed by Aurora Capital Partners, has acquired TRuCapSol, a developer of biodegradable microencapsulation technologies. The acquisition adds TRuCapSol's patented biodegradable capsule IP and R&D capabilities to Spray-Tek's ingredient processing platform to expand addressable markets across personal care, nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals.

CERTANIA (via Triskelion) Acquires Linge Agroconsultancy

CERTANIA Group, through its portfolio company Triskelion, has acquired Linge Agroconsultancy, a Dutch regulatory consulting firm specializing in registration of plant protection products, biocides, fertilizers and biostimulants. Linge will continue to operate under its own brand with Triskelion management (Steven Sleurink) assuming leadership and founder Dr. Tonnie Engels remaining as a consultant; the deal strengthens CERTANIA's regulatory and compliance capabilities across Europe.
