Warburg Pincus Acquires $125M Minority Stake in Contabilizei

Warburg Pincus has made a $125 million minority investment in Contabilizei, becoming the company’s largest shareholder after purchasing stakes from earlier venture investors including Kaszek. The capital will support the São Paulo–based accounting technology firm — which serves over 50,000 clients, employs roughly 1,200 specialists, and generated more than R$300 million in revenue — as it scales its automated tax and accounting platform and expands financial services offerings.
