Source Capital, a private equity firm, has acquired Kitchen Brains, a Stratford, Connecticut–based designer and manufacturer of smart cooking controls, embedded electronics and a SaaS production management solution. Terms were not disclosed; Source Capital said it will partner with management to accelerate the product pipeline, bolster scalability and pursue expansion opportunities across the company's hardware and software offerings.
