Clearlake Capital Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Springs Window Fashions from affiliates of AEA Investors and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI). Springs, a Middleton, Wisconsin-based manufacturer of branded custom window coverings and awnings with over 9,000 employees, will serve as a Clearlake platform to accelerate growth through organic initiatives and M&A.

StellaGroup (PAI-backed) Acquires CRH's Shutters & Awnings Platform

StellaGroup, backed by private equity firm PAI Partners, has agreed to acquire CRH's Shutters & Awnings (CRH S&A) platform. The acquisition — subject to customary regulatory approvals and expected to complete in the summer — will nearly double StellaGroup's revenue and expand its footprint across key Western European markets; CRH S&A reported 2018 sales in excess of €200 million and owns brands including Alulux, AVZ, Erhardt Markisen and SWS.

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. agreed to acquire Cascade Windows from CenterOak Partners LLC for a cash purchase price of $245 million. Cascade, a Spokane Valley, Washington-based manufacturer of energy-efficient vinyl windows and doors with ~800 employees and ~$160 million in trailing twelve-month sales, expands Cornerstone's residential windows footprint and West Coast manufacturing presence.
