High Street Capital, alongside Wells Fargo Strategic Capital, has acquired Knight Material Technologies (formerly Koch Knight), a Koch Engineered Solutions subsidiary. The PE firm plans to invest in KMT's technology, innovation and infrastructure while retaining the current management team to expand manufacturing capacity and grow market share.

U-C Coatings (High Road Capital Partners portfolio company) Acquires Eco Chemical

U-C Coatings, a portfolio company of High Road Capital Partners, acquired the assets of Eco Chemical, Inc., a Seattle-based maker of waterborne wood stains and industrial coatings; the deal closed on September 9, 2019. The acquisition expands U-C Coatings' product offerings into the pressure-treated lumber channel, deepens its presence on the U.S. West Coast, and was financed with support from Madison Capital; Eco Chemical founders also reinvested alongside High Road.

Kamet Precision Machining & Assembly Acquires MT Systems, Inc.

Kamet Precision Machining & Assembly has acquired MT Systems, Inc., a Milpitas, California-based manufacturer of chemical platforms and wet sub-systems for substrate and wafer processing. The acquisition expands Kamet's capabilities from component manufacturing to systems manufacturing, supports its 'Made in America' strategy and adds MT Systems' 30-person engineering and manufacturing team to Kamet's U.S. footprint.

Quantic Electronics Acquires Union Technology Corporation

(EMC), a Taiwanese copper-clad laminate and prepreg manufacturer, has completed the acquisition of Arlon Electronic Materials Division (Arlon EMD) from affiliates of CriticalPoint Capital. Arlon, headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, California, is a specialty high-performance laminate and prepreg manufacturer serving aerospace, military, and other high-reliability electronics end markets; EMC acquired Arlon to establish a North American manufacturing base and expand its global production footprint.

Technip Energies Acquires Ecovyst's Advanced Materials & Catalysts Business

Technip Energies has completed the acquisition of Ecovyst’s Advanced Materials & Catalysts (AM&C) segment in a transaction reported around $556 million, bringing approximately 330 AM&C employees into Technip. Ecovyst expects net proceeds of about $530 million (using $465 million to pay down term debt), while Technip said the deal expands its catalysts and advanced materials capabilities to support sustainable fuels, circular chemistry and carbon-capture applications.
