Knight Material Technologies Acquires Electro Chemical (and Superior Dual Laminates)

Knight Material Technologies (KMT), a High Street Capital portfolio company, has acquired Electro Chemical Engineering and Manufacturing Co. (EC) and its subsidiary Superior Dual Laminates (SDL). The deal expands KMT’s corrosion-resistant product offering—adding fluoropolymer-lined vessels and dual-laminate FRP equipment—and provides geographic reach into the U.S. Gulf Coast and new end markets including ultra-high-purity semiconductor chemicals.

Technip Energies Acquires Ecovyst's Advanced Materials & Catalysts Business

Technip Energies has completed the acquisition of Ecovyst’s Advanced Materials & Catalysts (AM&C) segment in a transaction reported around $556 million, bringing approximately 330 AM&C employees into Technip. Ecovyst expects net proceeds of about $530 million (using $465 million to pay down term debt), while Technip said the deal expands its catalysts and advanced materials capabilities to support sustainable fuels, circular chemistry and carbon-capture applications.
