AE Industrial Partners Acquires Deep Space Systems

AE Industrial Partners (AEI) acquired Deep Space Systems (DSS) and will combine it with Adcole Space to form Redwire, a new space-technology platform focused on mission-critical space systems and high-reliability electronics. The deal brings DSS’s spacecraft engineering, payloads, and ground support capabilities into the AEI-backed Redwire platform to expand scale and complementary capabilities for government and commercial space customers.
