Northstar Recycling Acquires Waste Technology Services

Northstar Recycling Company, LLC has acquired Waste Technology Services, LLC, combining two asset-light providers of managed waste, byproduct management and environmental consulting to strengthen technical capabilities and expand sustainability-oriented services. WTS, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Lewiston, New York, will join Northstar's platform (PE-backed after a 2021 recapitalization led by Ridgemont Equity Partners) to deliver broader recycling, reuse and reclamation solutions across specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, high-technology and industrial end markets.

DTG Recycle Acquires Substantially All Assets of 1 Green Planet

DTG Recycle announced the acquisition of substantially all assets of 1 Green Planet, an electronics recycling and IT asset disposition provider based in Renton, Washington. The deal expands DTG's service offering into certified electronics recycling and secure data destruction, and DTG said it will integrate 1 Green Planet employees and leverage its facility network to broaden e-waste access across the Puget Sound region.

Reworld Acquires R.E.D. Technologies (REDTECH)

Reworld (Reworld Holding Corporation) has acquired R.E.D. Technologies, LLC (REDTECH), a profiled waste and field remediation company based in Portland, Connecticut. The purchase adds a state-of-the-art profiled waste transfer station with on-site rail transloading, a fleet of 36 railcars and 100+ vehicles/equipment, and strengthens Reworld's hazardous and non-hazardous waste logistics and service capacity across the Northeastern United States.
