Reworld Acquires EnviroVac Waste Transport Systems

Reworld (formerly Covanta), a Morristown, New Jersey-based sustainable waste solutions provider, has acquired EnviroVac Waste Transport Systems, an Illinois-based hazardous and non-hazardous waste transportation company with operations in Jacksonville, Illinois and Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The purchase adds a fleet of over 25 drivers and nearly 100 specialized transport assets, expanding Reworld's regional footprint and enhancing its ReDirect360 and ReMove waste logistics and processing capabilities.

Northstar Recycling Acquires Waste Technology Services

Northstar Recycling Company, LLC has acquired Waste Technology Services, LLC, combining two asset-light providers of managed waste, byproduct management and environmental consulting to strengthen technical capabilities and expand sustainability-oriented services. WTS, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Lewiston, New York, will join Northstar's platform (PE-backed after a 2021 recapitalization led by Ridgemont Equity Partners) to deliver broader recycling, reuse and reclamation solutions across specialty chemical, pharmaceutical, high-technology and industrial end markets.

Astra Energy Inc. to Acquire Regreen Technologies Inc.

Astra Energy Inc. entered into definitive agreements to acquire Regreen Technologies Inc., a California-based developer of a "Total Waste to Energy" system founded by Albert Mardikian. Astra will deploy the technology globally via its wholly owned subsidiary Astra Energy California Inc., with a pilot project planned in California and the stated goal of creating material recovery facilities with up to 95% landfill diversion.
