MML Capital Acquires OnPoint Industrial Services from Capstreet and HCI

MML Capital Partners has acquired OnPoint Industrial Services, a Deer Park, Texas-based provider of safety, logistics and planning services for refinery and petrochemical turnarounds, from Capstreet (with minority involvement from HCI Equity Partners). Financial terms were not disclosed; Stellus Capital provided senior debt financing and an equity co-investment to support the transaction. MML said it will invest in technology and expand OnPoint's capabilities to accelerate growth.

(and its subsidiary Calculated Controls) to create a larger North American provider of industrial safety, logistics and turnaround management services. The transaction was supported by senior debt financing from Stellus Capital Management; The CapStreet Group and HCI Equity Partners remain shareholders in the combined business with Onpoint CEO Liz Crow leading the united company.

Onpoint Industrial Services has acquired Innovative Ventilation Systems, Inc.'s Beaumont, Texas operations, absorbing its services, customer accounts and personnel effective October 21, 2020. The acquisition expands Onpoint's turnaround and confined-space safety capabilities by adding temporary ventilation, climate control and filtration services alongside Onpoint's existing safety and WatchPoint monitoring offerings.

TrueSource (an OnPoint Group Company) Acquires Solutions Management, Inc.

The acquisition expands TrueSource/OnPoint's capabilities in disaster recovery and specialized cleaning for retail and grocery customers and extends its service offering and geographic coverage for national retail and property manager clients.

Southfield Capital Acquires TFS from OnPoint Group

Southfield Capital has acquired TFS, Ltd., a Perrysburg, Ohio-based provider of material handling fleet management services, from OnPoint Group. Comvest Credit Partners provided senior secured financing to support the transaction; Southfield will retain the incumbent management team and re-invest returning executives to support growth and expand service and technology capabilities.

Westbridge Capital Ltd. Acquires Scopes Facility Services LLC

Westbridge Capital Ltd., a private equity management company based in Saskatoon, has acquired Scopes Facility Services LLC, a Cartersville, Georgia–based floor care and landscaping provider that services more than 7,500 retail locations. Financing for the transaction was arranged by Westbridge Capital Partners Income Trust; former CEO Jason Thomas will remain involved as a board member while Kevin Williams was named CEO.
