Protegrity Advisors served as exclusive advisor to Long Island Crane & Rigging; Brad Allan will remain in his leadership role as the business becomes part of Capital Extension’s portfolio to expand its New York-area coverage.

The Bay Crane Companies Acquires Capital City Group

The Bay Crane Companies, Inc. acquired Capital City Group, Inc., a Columbus, Ohio-based crane and rigging company, expanding Bay Crane's footprint into the Midwest and moving the combined business into the top 10 largest crane service companies in North America. Brian Gibson, Capital City's president and shareholder, will remain as President of the Columbus operation following the transaction.

Mollitiam Holdings, a Florida-based private equity group, made a strategic majority investment in Extreme Crane & Rigging (Extreme Crane) to recapitalize the business and provide capital for fleet and service expansion across the Mid-Atlantic. Extreme Crane, headquartered in Manassas, Virginia, will use the investment to add equipment and grow its operations in Virginia, DC, Maryland and parts of West Virginia.
