Spring Valley Acquisition Corp. Merges with NuScale Power to Create Public SMR Company

NuScale Power completed a business combination with Spring Valley Acquisition Corp., becoming a publicly traded company (NYSE: SMR) and receiving approximately $380 million in gross proceeds, including $235 million from PIPE investors. The transaction provides capital to accelerate commercialization of NuScale’s small modular reactor (SMR) technology and includes participation from strategic and financial investors such as DS Private Equity, Nucor, SailingStone Capital Partners, Samsung C&T, Segra Capital Management and Pearl Energy Investment Management.

(SVO), a Richfield, Utah–based retail and commercial fuel business. The deal adds seven company retail locations, more than 20 retail dealers and approximately 350 million litres of annual fuel and petroleum product volume, expanding Parkland's U.S. retail and distribution footprint in southern Utah and the surrounding Rockies region.
