Sciens Building Solutions, a Carlyle-backed holding company, has acquired the Mammoth companies — Mammoth Fire Alarms (MFA), Property Protection Monitoring (PPM) and Mammoth Fire Protection Systems (MFPS) — expanding Sciens’ Northeast footprint. The acquisition adds Mammoth’s design, installation, monitoring and maintenance capabilities and a team of well over 100 employees to Sciens’ fire and life-safety platform.
