Funds managed by The Vistria Group have acquired a significant interest in Really Great Reading, a Maryland-based provider of foundational literacy curriculum, through a strategic investment/partnership with existing investor VSS Capital Partners. VSS completed a partial sale of its stake but will continue to own a minority interest and serve on RGR's board as the company looks to expand its digital suite and broaden its presence across additional states and school districts.

DreamBox Learning Acquires Reading Plus

The purchase—sold by Avathon Capital—expands DreamBox's product portfolio from math into English language arts (reading), creating a combined dual-discipline offering for K-12 customers.

Beable Education Acquires Readorium

Beable Education has acquired Readorium, a provider of adaptive, standards-aligned science reading-comprehension software, and will integrate Readorium’s content into its Literacy Recovery Platform beginning with the 2022/23 school year. The deal expands Beable’s curriculum offerings to include science-based reading materials to support literacy recovery and STEM career exploration for grades 2–12.

95 Percent Group Acquires Sortegories

95 Percent Group, a portfolio company of Leeds Equity Partners, has acquired Sortegories, a digital K–8 literacy practice tool developed by Nancy Chapel Eberhardt and Sheryl Ferlito. Sortegories will be integrated into 95 Percent Group's One95 Literacy Platform to expand the company's digital literacy offerings; terms were not disclosed.
