insightsoftware has acquired BizNet Software, a Dallas-based developer of Excel-based reporting and analytics solutions. The deal expands insightsoftware’s financial reporting and Excel-focused product portfolio and gives BizNet’s more than 2,800 customers access to insightsoftware’s broader ERP/EPM reporting, analytics, and planning solutions.

Informa PLC and TechTarget Combine to Form Informa TechTarget

Informa PLC has combined its Informa Tech digital businesses with TechTarget to create Informa TechTarget. Informa contributed $350 million in cash and its digital businesses for an approximate 57% equity stake while existing TechTarget shareholders received cash and retain about 43% of the new company; the combined company began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker TTGT.

Informa PLC Acquires Industry Dive

Informa PLC has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Industry Dive, a U.S.-based B2B digital publisher and audience development firm, from Falfurrias Capital Partners. The deal, which adds Industry Dive's 27 specialist publications and digital marketing capabilities to Informa's portfolio, is expected to close in Q3 2022 subject to regulatory approval.

Northlane Capital Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Infobase

Connect Media Acquires Networld Media Group

The deal expands Connect Media's media and events footprint into adjacent verticals and grows the combined team's headcount to more than 60 employees; terms were not disclosed.

Datacor Acquires INFONETICS

Datacor, Inc., a provider of process manufacturing and chemical distribution software, has acquired INFONETICS, a long‑standing provider of ERP and asset-management software for the welding supply and industrial gas industry. The deal expands Datacor’s industry-specific product suite (including SaaS, container tracking and e‑commerce capabilities) while INFONETICS’ president David J. Frea and his management team will continue to run the business.
