Boston-based private equity firm Union Park Capital has made a majority investment in Leonard Rice Consulting Water Engineers, Inc. (d/b/a LRE Water), a Denver-based water resources and environmental consulting firm. LRE Water will serve as the pillar of water expertise within Union Park's Spheros Environmental Group, with management remaining in place as the firm pursues geographic and service expansion.

RMA Companies (a portfolio company of OceanSound Partners) has acquired HydroGEOPHYSICS, Inc. (HGI), a Tucson-based geophysical consulting firm. The transaction expands RMA's Subsurface Imaging Division by adding HGI's advanced 2D/3D/4D geophysical capabilities to support mining, environmental remediation, dam/waterway, and energy projects.
