The add-on deal expands BMC Benelux’s footprint in East and West Flanders, strengthens customer and supplier alignment, and will develop the site into a new hub for the YouBuild network.

The transaction is Ringbeck's first add-on following AURELIUS Growth Investments' February 2021 investment and supports a buy-and-build strategy to strengthen the group's presence in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Aurubis AG has agreed to acquire Metallo Holdings 3 B.V. (Metallo Group), a Belgian–Spanish non‑ferrous metals recycling and refining group, from TowerBrook Capital Partners. Metallo operates main sites in Belgium and Spain with ~530 employees and reported approximately €985 million revenue in FY2018; the purchase price announced was €380 million and the deal is subject to merger control clearance.
