AURELIUS Growth Investments Acquires Stake in Ringbeck GmbH

AURELIUS Growth Investments (AWK) has acquired a stake in Ringbeck GmbH, a German provider of gardening, landscaping and roof-greening services, to support the company’s expansion via a buy-and-build strategy in the DACH region. Founder Wilhelm Ringbeck will remain a significant shareholder and managing director, while AWK will provide capital and operational support to drive growth and platform consolidation.

Ringbeck GmbH, a portfolio company of AURELIUS Growth Investments, has acquired Roehse & Fischer GmbH & Co KG, a Gütersloh-based gardening and landscaping firm founded in 1909 that employs around 35 people. The acquisition is an add-on as part of a buy-and-build strategy to expand Ringbecks presence in North Rhine-Westphalia and marks the company's third add-on since AURELIUS Growth Investments invested in Ringbeck in February 2021.

Ringbeck Group, a portfolio company of AURELIUS Growth Investments, has acquired Rüdiger Brandenburg GmbH, a Berlin- and Seddiner See–based provider of garden, landscape and sports ground construction. The add-on expands Ringbeck Group’s footprint and capabilities in the Berlin/Brandenburg region; Rüdiger Brandenburg employs more than 60 people and the combined Ringbeck Group expects around EUR 105m revenue for 2023.

The Berlin-based landscaping and sport-field construction business (about 80 employees) adds a strategic site in the Berlin/Brandenburg region and represents Ringbeck's fourth add-on in 18 months as part of AURELIUS Growth Investments' buy-and-build strategy.
