NTT DATA Business Solutions AG, a group company of NTT DATA, has acquired London-headquartered digital transformation provider Sapphire from private equity investor Horizon Capital. The sale generates a 5.0x return and a 50% IRR for Horizon Capital; under Horizon's ownership Sapphire grew revenues from £38m to over £75m and expanded headcount from 250 to over 420.

The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands Zelis' consumer-facing offerings and helps clients comply with new transparency regulations; the deal closed in October 2021 after being announced in September 2021.

Peak Technologies Acquires Automation Intelligence

The add-on strengthens Peak's Smart Technologies offering by adding advanced robotics and machine vision capabilities to its digital supply chain and AIDC solutions; terms were not disclosed.

Jasper Acquires Clipdrop from Stability AI

Jasper has acquired Clipdrop, an AI image creation and editing platform, from Stability AI; the deal closed on February 20, 2024. Clipdrop’s Paris-based team will join Jasper to accelerate multimodal image capabilities inside Jasper’s marketing copilot and the product is available to Jasper customers immediately via the Jasper API.
