NatTech (NTI Connect) Acquires Precision Design Services' Fiber Network Engineering Business

NatTech, LLC (National Technologies), a subsidiary of NTI Connect, LLC, has acquired the fiber network engineering business of Precision Design Services, Inc., which is headquartered in Morris Plains, New Jersey. The add-on expands NTI's engineering capabilities and presence in the New York City market and brings PDS's route design, OSP/ISP drawings, as-built production and project management services into NTI's National Technologies platform; NTI is owned by ORIX Capital Partners.

Belden Acquires Berthold Sichert GmbH

Belden Inc. completed the acquisition of Berthold Sichert GmbH for approximately $98 million. Sichert, based in Berlin, designs and manufactures polycarbonate street cabinets for outside-plant PON and 5G networks; the deal expands Belden's fiber portfolio and strengthens its solutions for telecom and 5G infrastructure.

Boulden Holdings, LLC Acquires Ace Precision Industries, Inc.

Boulden Holdings, LLC, a portfolio company of Edgewater Growth Capital Partners V, L.P., has acquired Ace Precision Industries, Inc., a family-owned precision machining business based in Akron, Ohio. The acquisition adds precision machining and hydrodynamic bearing capabilities to Boulden's wear-components platform, increasing capacity and creating cross-selling opportunities across aerospace, medical and transit end markets.

Mettler-Toledo Acquires PendoTECH

Mettler-Toledo International Inc. completed the acquisition of PendoTECH, a Princeton, New Jersey–based maker of single-use sensors, transmitters, control systems and software for bioprocess measurement and monitoring. The transaction includes $185 million initial consideration plus up to $20 million in contingent payments and is intended to expand Mettler-Toledo's process-analytics and sensor offerings for the bioprocessing market and enable cross-selling and broader global reach.

Nokia Acquires Elenion Technologies

Nokia announced it will acquire Elenion Technologies, a privately held U.S. silicon photonics company headquartered in New York, to integrate Elenion's silicon photonics platform and design services into Nokia's optical networking portfolio. The acquisition is intended to improve time-to-market and reduce cost per bit for 5G, cloud and enterprise networking solutions; the transaction was expected to close in Q1 2020, subject to regulatory approvals.
