Sun Capital Affiliate Acquires Koch Separation Solutions (now Kovalus Separation Solutions)

An affiliate of Sun Capital Partners has acquired Koch Separation Solutions, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, and the business has been rebranded as Kovalus Separation Solutions. The company — headquartered in Wilmington, Massachusetts with over 700 employees — will operate as a standalone business under existing management to accelerate growth and expand its separation technology offerings across food & beverage, dairy, life science and industrial markets.
