HKW Acquires Sepratech Liquid Solutions

HKW, a middle-market private equity firm based in Indianapolis, has acquired Sepratech Liquid Solutions, an industrial water and wastewater treatment services provider headquartered in Gonzales, Louisiana. HKW said the acquisition will support Sepratech’s growth initiatives across marketing, sales and operations while maintaining the company’s regulatory, safety and environmental standards.

German life‑science group Sartorius, via its subgroup Sartorius Stedim Biotech, has acquired U.S.-based purification specialist WaterSep BioSeparations LLC. The deal, valued at approximately $27 million plus an earn‑out of up to $9 million, adds hollow‑fiber crossflow filtration and single‑use bioprocessing devices aimed at gene and cell therapy, vaccine production and intensified bioprocessing to Sartorius' separation portfolio.
