Active Motif Incorporated acquired Bay Area start-up Amaryllis Nucleics, bringing its proprietary 3' Digital Gene Expression (3' DGE) RNA sequencing chemistry, library prep kit and custom service business into the Active Motif portfolio. The acquisition adds a faster, lower-cost RNA-to-library workflow that Active Motif will integrate into its product and service offerings to support precision medicine and high-throughput genomics applications.
