Knight-Swift Acquires Dependable Highway Express LTL Business

Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings has acquired the less-than-truckload (LTL) operations of Los Angeles-based Dependable Highway Express from Dependable Supply Chain Services. The deal expands Knight-Swift's West Coast and Southwest LTL footprint—adding terminals and doors to its AAA Cooper division—to support the company's goal of building a nationwide LTL network.

Radiant Logistics Acquires USA Logistics Services, Inc. and USA Carrier Services, LLC

Radiant Logistics, Inc. (NYSE American: RLGT) has acquired USA Logistics Services, Inc. and USA Carrier Services, LLC, two Philadelphia-based freight forwarding and cartage operations that have operated as part of Radiant's Service By Air brand since 2014. The acquired businesses will transition to the Radiant brand and combine with Radiant's company-owned Philadelphia operations; a portion of the purchase price is contingent on future performance and Mike Boyce will serve as General Manager of the combined team.

RK Logistics Group Holdings Acquires On Time Trucking

RK Logistics Group Holdings, a Fremont, California-based 3PL, has acquired Farmingdale, New York-based On Time Trucking, expanding RK's network into the Northeast U.S. The deal adds On Time Trucking’s LTL fleet and 60,000 sq. ft. warehouse capabilities and positions RK to offer lithium-ion battery and specialized material storage and transportation services on the East Coast; On Time’s founder Daniel Leitgeb will continue as President.

Universal specializes in time-sensitive domestic and international air and ocean freight for oilfield services and HVAC customers; its Houston operations will transition to the Radiant brand during 2025 as Radiant consolidates its presence in the market.

A&R Logistics (Wind Point) Acquires RJ's Transportation

A&R Logistics, a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners, has acquired RJ's Transportation, a Port Allen, Louisiana-based provider of bulk liquid transportation and related trucking services. The add-on strengthens A&R's liquid chemical platform and expands its Gulf Coast geographic coverage while RJ's founder and president will remain involved in the combined business.
