High Road Capital Partners completed the acquisition of John Henry Foster Minnesota (JHFoster), a value-added distributor of motion control, compressed air systems, robotics and electrical automation products headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota. The deal closed May 24, 2019; JHFoster's president Jan Hawkins will continue to lead the company and joined the board, and management participated alongside High Road to support growth, geographic expansion and future add-on activity.

The acquisition, completed December 2, 2021, is the second add-on for JHFoster under High Road's ownership and is intended to expand technical capabilities, supplier relationships and support growth initiatives for the combined businesses.

TJM Capital Partners Acquires Midwest Automation LLC

TJM Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has acquired Midwest Automation LLC, a family-owned U.S. manufacturer of industrial machinery for metal deburring, edge rounding and surface finishing. Kenny Holley, the past president and owner, exited the business and Micah Coleman (CEO of Timesavers LLC and Dubois Equipment Co.) will serve as incoming CEO as TJM looks to expand Midwest Automation's capabilities and grow the business.

Martino; the deal strengthens JHFOSTER's automation and integration capabilities as part of its recent roll-up activity.

Material Handling Systems (MHS) Acquires eMotion Controls Co.

Material Handling Systems, Inc. (MHS) has acquired eMotion Controls Co., a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based controls system integration and software company. The acquisition is intended to accelerate MHS's Lifecycle Performance Services (LPS) growth by adding controls, software and robotics integration capabilities across parcel sortation, fulfillment and distribution end-markets. Financial terms were not disclosed.
