Affiliates of APG Group NV and Fiera Infrastructure, with significant participation from Conterra senior management, agreed to acquire the remaining indirect equity interests in Conterra Networks from affiliates of Court Square Capital Partners and other holders. The transaction positions Conterra as a platform to accelerate US fiber network expansion through organic builds and acquisitions, targeting growth in Tier II and Tier III markets.

Ezee Fiber Acquires Tachus Fiber Internet

Houston-based Ezee Fiber, backed by infrastructure investor I Squared Capital, has closed the acquisition of Tachus Fiber Internet, expanding Ezee Fiber’s all‑fiber footprint across Greater Houston including The Woodlands. The deal strengthens Ezee Fiber’s route network and subscriber base as it accelerates FTTH passings and service rollouts, and positions the company to surpass roughly 600,000 homes and businesses passed by the end of 2025.

I Squared Capital's Ezee Fiber Acquires ICTX WaveMedia

I Squared Capital formed a new digital infrastructure platform, Ezee Fiber, through its ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III and announced the platform’s inaugural acquisition of ICTX WaveMedia, a 2,000-kilometer carrier-grade fiber connectivity provider serving the Houston metro area. Ezee Fiber—led by CEO Scott Widham—will leverage ICTX WaveMedia’s existing fiber to expand residential, enterprise, government and education broadband services across underserved Texas markets.

MetroNet Acquires Vexus Fiber
