Acuity Brands, Inc. has acquired QSC, LLC for approximately $1.215 billion, integrating QSC into Acuity's Intelligent Spaces Group to expand its audio, video, and control (AVC) capabilities. QSC's cloud-first Q-SYS platform and audio hardware (annual revenue ~$535M) will significantly boost ISG's scale and product offering, with the transaction financed through cash and a $600M delayed-draw term loan facility.

The transaction, which closed July 25, 2025, expands Quanta's mechanical construction and off-site fabrication capabilities, adds a ~2,400-employee platform and diversified end-market exposure (technology/semiconductor, healthcare, industrial) and was funded with cash and Quanta stock (approximately $1.35 billion upfront plus potential earnout).
