New State Capital Partners (via an affiliate) has made a majority equity investment in Wilmington Paper Corp., a recovered-fiber processor and intermediary headquartered in New Jersey. Management, led by CEO Stuart Lurie, retained a substantial minority stake; New State said it will support organic growth, technology and logistics investments, and pursue add-on acquisitions to extend the company's reach.

Marcal Paper Acquires von Drehle Corporation

American Exchange Group Acquires White Mountain Footwear

American Exchange Group has acquired White Mountain Footwear, a 40-year-old women’s footwear brand, to integrate its sourcing, manufacturing and management capabilities and expand distribution across the buyer’s existing retail channels. The acquisition will allow American Exchange Group to leverage synergies with its Aerosoles business, broaden product categories (including the Cliffs sister brand) and increase White Mountain’s reach into mass retailers and e-commerce.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires Jackson Paper Manufacturing and Sustainable Corrugated

H.I.G. Capital has completed the acquisition of Jackson Paper Manufacturing and Sustainable Corrugated (JPM). JPM, headquartered in Sylva, North Carolina, is a vertically integrated manufacturer of 100% recycled corrugated packaging operating four facilities and employing more than 200 people; H.I.G. will partner with management to accelerate the company's growth and expand its sustainable packaging capabilities.

Fedrigoni Group Acquires Certain Assets of Mohawk Fine Papers
