Masters Gallery Foods acquired Rumiano Cheese Company's converting and distribution facility in Willows, California to expand its manufacturing footprint to the West Coast and reduce freight costs. Separately, Sartori Cheese purchased Rumiano's cheesemaking facility in Crescent City and will market the Rumiano Family Organics brand; Rumiano (the selling family) divested these assets after more than a century of family ownership.

Lipari Foods Acquires Swiss-American, Inc.

Lipari Foods, a Warren, Michigan-based specialty food distributor, has acquired St. Louis-based Swiss-American, Inc., a specialty cheese solutions provider focused on retail deli. The acquisition will fold Swiss-American into Lipari's manufacturing division via its subsidiary The Deli Source to expand cheese offerings and capabilities; Swiss-American will continue to be led by Joe Hoff and has approximately 85 employees.

Our Home Acquires Sonoma Creamery

Schuman Cheese Acquires Trugman-Nash LLC

The deal expands Schuman's premium cheese portfolio and strengthens its retail presence in the U.S. specialty cheese market.

Ferraro Foods Acquires Botticelli Food Service; Sells Casa Foods Division Back to Fornino Family

Ferraro Foods has acquired Botticelli Food Service (including the recently acquired Rudy & Son operation), expanding its distribution footprint and adding hundreds of pizzeria and restaurant customers across the Long Island / tri-state pizza market. Concurrently, Ferraro sold its Casa Foods division in Utica, New York back to the legacy Fornino family, transferring the Utica facility and more than 80 employees to local ownership.
