Regions Bank Acquires EnerBank USA

Regions Bank (a subsidiary of Regions Financial Corporation) has completed its acquisition of Salt Lake City-based home improvement lender EnerBank USA from CMS Energy Corporation. EnerBank — a specialized point-of-sale lender serving homeowners and contractors with digital and contractor-delivered lending solutions and roughly 485 employees — will join Regions' Consumer Banking Group and continue operating from Salt Lake City as it transitions into the Regions brand.

(United Bank) signed a definitive agreement to acquire Town-Country National Bank, a Camden, Alabama community bank with approximately $126.2 million in assets, for aggregate cash consideration of $28.5 million. Town-Country will rebrand as Town-Country United Bank and operate as a separate banking subsidiary; TCNB shareholders will receive cash consideration (with a portion paid as a special dividend) and the deal is expected to close in early Q3 2021 subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
