The deal brings Cortina’s marketplace connections, vendor/product discovery tools and network of 1,500+ brands into the Logicbroker platform to expand marketplace and dropship capabilities.

Haveli Investments and General Atlantic Acquire Certinia

Haveli Investments, with participation from General Atlantic, has agreed to acquire Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) from Advent International and Technology Crossover Ventures in a deal Reuters values at nearly $1 billion including debt. Salesforce will remain a minority shareholder; the transaction is a private equity buyout intended to support Certinia’s next stage of growth and product expansion.

Cognizant has agreed to acquire Mobica, a Manchester-based IoT and embedded software engineering services provider, to broaden its IoT and product engineering capabilities. The deal adds nearly 900 people across Europe and North America (including ~550 engineers in Poland); the acquisition is expected to close in February 2023 and financial terms were not disclosed.
