Chicago-based Redwood Logistics has acquired Rockfarm Supply Chain Solutions and Global Distribution and Logistics to strengthen its modern 4PL and tech-enabled managed services. The deal adds Rockfarm’s freight management, international freight forwarding, trade compliance, customs brokerage, TMS integration experience and data/BI capabilities; Rockfarm’s Dubuque, Iowa operation and leadership will integrate into Redwood.

BlueGrace Logistics Acquires FreightCenter

BlueGrace Logistics, a PE-backed third-party logistics (3PL) provider, has acquired FreightCenter, a 26-year-old online transportation solutions provider. The deal will integrate FreightCenter's customers and online freight capabilities with BlueGrace's BlueShip TMS, carrier network and managed logistics services while FreightCenter continues to operate under its existing brand.

AEA Investors Acquires Redwood Logistics

AEA Investors has acquired Redwood Logistics from CI Capital Partners. Redwood, a Chicago-headquartered third-party logistics provider with a proprietary Logistics Platform as a Service (LPaaS) and more than 800 employees, will partner with AEA to fund additional add-on acquisitions and accelerate organic growth; financial terms were not disclosed.

Red Arts Capital Adds FLEX Logistics to Partners Warehouse Platform (Graycliff Provides Unitranche Debt)

Red Arts Capital acquired FLEX Logistics (Eastvale, CA) and combined it with its existing Partners Warehouse platform (Elwood, IL) to create Partners Warehouse Holdings, a national 3PL/warehousing platform. Graycliff Partners provided a unitranche debt financing to support Red Arts' acquisition and the merger, enabling cross-selling and expansion of warehousing and transloading capabilities.

Fracht AG Acquires Quality Freight Group (Ireland)

Switzerland-headquartered Fracht AG has agreed to acquire the entire shareholding of Dublin-headquartered Quality Freight Group, including Quality Freight Ltd and its subsidiary units (Renewable Logistics, Quality Freight Belfast, Quality Port Logistics, Quality Freight Netherlands and Quality Freight Inland Container Depots). The deal brings Fracht expanded project-cargo, bulk-tank/container logistics and Irish/Benelux warehousing and depot capabilities and integrates Quality Freight’s local teams and facilities into Fracht’s global network.
