Meriplex Communications, a Houston-based managed IT and SD-WAN provider, has acquired Dallas-based telecommunications firm Vergent Communications to expand its footprint in the Dallas–Fort Worth market. The acquisition adds Vergent’s voice, data and hosted/cloud communications capabilities to Meriplex’s portfolio, advancing Meriplex’s regional expansion and managed services offering.

QualTek Acquires Vertical Limit LLC

Vast Broadband Acquires NTS Communications

Vast Broadband has acquired NTS Communications from private equity owner Tower Three Partners, adding NTS's fiber network in Texas and Louisiana to Vast's footprint. Oak Hill Capital Partners and Pamlico Capital led a recapitalization of Vast to support accelerated growth and will provide financial backing following the transaction.

NatTech (NTI Connect) Acquires Precision Design Services' Fiber Network Engineering Business

NatTech, LLC (National Technologies), a subsidiary of NTI Connect, LLC, has acquired the fiber network engineering business of Precision Design Services, Inc., which is headquartered in Morris Plains, New Jersey. The add-on expands NTI's engineering capabilities and presence in the New York City market and brings PDS's route design, OSP/ISP drawings, as-built production and project management services into NTI's National Technologies platform; NTI is owned by ORIX Capital Partners.

QualTek Acquires Vinculums Services

MetroNet Acquires Vexus Fiber

MetroNet announced a merger with Lubbock-based Vexus Fiber, combining their fiber-to-the-home networks to accelerate FTTH expansion across Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana. The companies will continue to operate under their current brands and leadership teams; terms were not disclosed.
