NewAlpha Acquires Majority Stake in Presto Engineering

NewAlpha Asset Management has acquired a majority stake in Presto Engineering through its Growth Equity fund, investing alongside founder Michel Villemain and with minority participation from Adaxtra Capital and Bpifrance Investissement. The transaction (from sellers Seventure Partners and CM-CIC Capital Privé) will support Presto's international growth, expand its recurring services for the ASIC production value chain, and accelerate deployment into automotive, IoT and other industrial markets.

Astorg, a European private equity firm, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Steliau, a pan-European value-added distributor (VAD) of electronic solutions, from B&Capital. Steliau, founded in 1992 and headquartered in Montrouge, France, employs more than 200 people across eight countries and will partner with Astorg to accelerate organic growth and execute a buy-and-build strategy.
