Kleinfelder, a San Diego–headquartered engineering and environmental professional services firm with ~3,100–3,200 employees, will continue to be led by President and CEO Louis Armstrong as Lindsay Goldberg partners with management to support further growth and capability expansion.

Kleinfelder Acquires Doucet & Associates, Inc.

The Kleinfelder Group, a Wind Point Partners portfolio company, has acquired Doucet & Associates, Inc., a civil engineering and surveying firm headquartered in Austin, Texas. The transaction closed May 31, 2023; Doucet’s ~110 professionals across six Texas offices will join Kleinfelder’s Central Division and continue to operate under existing leadership to expand Kleinfelder’s capabilities and presence in the Texas market.

Kleinfelder Acquires Garcia and Associates

The Kleinfelder Group, a Wind Point Partners portfolio company, acquired substantially all of the assets of Garcia and Associates (GANDA) in an asset purchase completed August 24–25, 2020. The acquisition adds environmental planning and permitting capabilities to Kleinfelder’s West Division and expands its presence in California, Hawaii, and Guam.
