Genesee & Wyoming Canada Acquires BMS Locomotive Service Group

Genesee & Wyoming Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Genesee & Wyoming Inc., has completed the acquisition of BMS Locomotive Service Group Inc., a Edmonton-headquartered provider of locomotive inspection, maintenance, refurbishment and repair services. The deal brings BMS's 10-person operation into G&W Canada's service offering, expanding the company's locomotive maintenance capabilities and footprint in Western Canada; terms were not disclosed.
