The transaction, facilitated by IT ExchangeNet, represents a founder succession as BPI president Gary Ellis handed over control after 35 years building the business.

Bain Capital Private Equity will retain a minority stake and will continue to support Waystar alongside the new investors to fund continued innovation and transformative M&A.
