In-Place Machining Acquires East Coast Metrology

In-Place Machining Company (IPM), a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), has acquired East Coast Metrology, LLC (ECM), a Topsfield, Massachusetts-based precision measurement and calibration services provider. The acquisition expands IPM's Measurement and Alignment Services Division—adding 3D scanning, reverse engineering, CMM inspection and ISO/IEC 17025 calibration capabilities—to broaden service offerings and geographic coverage across North America.
