Bonsai Robotics Acquires farm-ng

Bonsai Robotics, a San Jose–based developer of vision-based autonomy for agriculture, has acquired farm-ng, a Watsonville, California maker of modular electric robots for farm management. The deal combines Bonsai’s autonomous AI and perception capabilities with farm-ng’s hardware platform to accelerate development of integrated, AI-first agricultural machines; financial terms were not disclosed.

Joby Aviation Acquires Xwing's Autonomy Division

Joby Aviation acquired the autonomy division of Xwing, Inc., purchasing Xwing’s automation and autonomy technology with Joby shares. The deal brings Xwing’s perception, sensor-fusion, and flight-decisioning expertise into Joby to accelerate Joby’s automation roadmap and support existing and future Department of Defense contracts.

FarmQA Acquires Farm Dog from Deveron Corporation

Autonomy Acquires EV Mobility's Technology, Assets and Customer Accounts

Autonomy, an electric vehicle subscription company based in Santa Monica, has agreed to acquire the technology, assets and customer accounts of EV Mobility, an all-electric car-sharing platform that provides EVs as an amenity to hotels and multi-family properties. The deal (cash and stock, terms undisclosed) is intended to accelerate Autonomy's entry into car-sharing, expand its product offering, and scale usage through EV Mobility's existing hospitality and property partnerships; the transaction is expected to close in Q4 2023.

AutoQuotes Acquires Axonom

AutoQuotes (AQ), a portfolio company of Luminate Capital Partners, has acquired Axonom, the maker of the Powertrak visual configuration and guided-selling platform. The acquisition adds visual configuration, AR/VR and guided-selling capabilities to AQ's quote-to-cash and CPQ suite to help manufacturers (especially in foodservice equipment) digitally engage channels and end customers and expand AQ's capabilities into adjacent manufacturing verticals.
