MANTECH announced the acquisition of Elder Research, a provider of AI and data science solutions, applications, and training serving Fortune 500 and U.S. government clients. Elder Research will join MANTECH’s Data and AI Practice, expanding MANTECH’s AI, automation, and analytics capabilities for federal and commercial missions.

Sorenson announced the acquisition of OmniBridge (an internal venture of Intel) and Hand Talk to accelerate innovation in AI-driven automated sign language translation. The combined technologies and teams are intended to enable bi-directional, real-time translation between American Sign Language and spoken English, including avatar-based translation capabilities.

SoundHound agreed to acquire Amelia AI, a provider of customizable AI agents for enterprises, for $80 million in cash and equity. As part of the deal, SoundHound will also assume Amelia’s debt, aiming to expand further into regulated and enterprise-heavy verticals such as financial services, insurance, healthcare, retail, and hospitality.

Sagility LLC announced it has acquired Seattle-based BirchAI, a healthcare technology company providing a cloud-based GenAI call technology SaaS platform. The acquisition is intended to enhance Sagility’s analytics, automation, and healthcare engagement services by adding BirchAI’s generative AI capabilities to improve member, patient, and provider interactions and reduce operational costs for clients.

SandboxAQ announced it has acquired Good Chemistry, a Vancouver-based computational chemistry company, to expand SandboxAQ’s AI simulation capabilities for drug discovery and materials design. The deal adds Good Chemistry’s software products (QEMIST Cloud and Tangelo), talent, and customer/partner relationships; financial terms were not disclosed. Good Chemistry’s existing backers, including Green Sands Equity and others, will join the SandboxAQ investor base as part of the transaction.

Loadsmart, a freight technology and transportation service provider, acquired NavTrac, a computer-vision technology company focused on yard, terminal, and asset management. The deal expands Loadsmart’s product portfolio by adding NavTrac’s AI/ML and OCR-enabled camera systems to digitize and automate asset tracking and inventory management for yards, terminals, and warehouse operations.

Trive Capital acquired Hypergiant Industries, an AI-enabled defense platform and solutions company, to complement its existing portfolio company, Forward Slope. Hypergiant’s CEO Mike Betzer will continue to lead the business as it scales its cloud-based command-and-control and geospatial data visualization software offerings. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Accenture has completed its acquisition of Flutura, an industrial artificial intelligence company headquartered in Bangalore, India. Financial terms were not disclosed. The deal is intended to strengthen Accenture’s industrial AI services for clients across industries including energy, chemicals, metals, mining, and pharmaceuticals.

L2L Inc. announced the acquisition of Accumine Technologies Ltd., an AI and IIoT solutions provider focused on industrial edge technology. Accumine’s product portfolio will be incorporated into L2L’s data collection technologies and delivered as L2L Connect, strengthening L2L’s ability to derive value from shop floor data and accelerate manufacturers’ digitalization initiatives.

TPG, via TPG Capital Asia, signed a definitive agreement to invest US$360 million in Fractal (fractal.ai), an AI and advanced analytics solutions provider. The transaction includes a combination of primary capital and a secondary share purchase from funds advised by Apax, which will remain a major shareholder after closing.

Avantra announced it has acquired FogLogic Intellectual Property (IP) to accelerate product development and deliver next-generation AIOps innovation for SAP operations. The acquired FogLogic technology is intended to enhance Avantra’s platform with advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities, including predictive analytics and proactive issue resolution.

InRule Technology, a digital decisioning software platform and portfolio company of OpenGate Capital, acquired simMachines, an explainable AI and machine learning software platform provider. The deal was described as an add-on acquisition intended to expand InRule’s decision automation capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed. simMachines will continue to operate under its existing name following integration led by InRule CEO Rik Chomko.

Verint Systems Inc. acquired all outstanding equity interests in Next IT Corporation and its affiliate Next IT Innovation Labs, LLC. The deal was structured as approximately $30 million in cash paid at closing plus potential additional future cash payments, and is intended to expand Verint’s cloud self-service, automation, and conversational AI capabilities.
